Sparkplug is the Mini-Con partner of the Autobot leader,
Optimus Prime. Sparkplug converts into a superfast sports car and
helps Optimus Prime on reconnaissance missions. He also combined
with Optimus Prime in battles to increase the Autobot leader's strength.

This figure was later available exclusively in K-Mart Stores with Gold Armada Optimus Prime (2003), Armada Powerlinx Jetfire (2003), Armada Powerlinx Comettor (2003), Armada Longarm (2002), Armada Dune Runner (2002), Armad Iceberg (2002), and Armada Ransack (2002) in 2003.
